Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms:

• "ShuiLong" / "We" / "Us" means ShuiLong Plumbing Services, No. 247, Section 5, Nanjing East Road, Songshan District, Taipei City 105, Taiwan.
• "Service" means any plumbing call-out, repair, drain clearing, or installation carried out by ShuiLong.
• "Customer" / "You" means the person or property owner requesting the Service.
• "Agreement" means these Terms together with any confirmation exchanged at the time of booking.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry through our website or by confirming an appointment with ShuiLong, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to authorise work at the property. If you are acting on behalf of a property owner, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

3. Service Description

ShuiLong provides on-demand residential plumbing call-out services in Taipei, Taiwan. Our three standard services are:

• Drip & Leak Repair — NT$3,800
• Drain Clearing & Trap Check — NT$8,000
• Installation & Whole-Home Review — NT$13,500

Services are available Monday to Friday 08:00–19:00 and Saturday 08:00–17:00. Service is primarily available in central and east Taipei. Availability in other areas is subject to scheduling and may involve a travel supplement, which will be communicated in advance.

4. Booking and Confirmation

Enquiries submitted via our website do not constitute a binding booking. A booking is confirmed only when ShuiLong has responded to confirm the date, time, and service. We aim to respond within two hours on working days. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

5. Access to Property

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed appointment time. If access cannot be provided without prior notice, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee of NT$500 to cover wasted travel. No fee is charged if you notify us at least 2 hours before the appointment.

6. Pricing and Payment

Published service prices are in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) and cover the standard scope of each service. Parts supplied by ShuiLong are charged at cost with no handling markup and are itemised separately. Where work falls outside the standard scope, the additional cost is agreed with you before proceeding. We do not carry out additional work without your prior agreement.

Payment is due on completion of the service. Accepted methods: cash (NTD) and LINE Pay. For Installation & Whole-Home Review, a 50% deposit by bank transfer may be requested to confirm the booking.

7. Scope of Work

The scope of each call-out is agreed at the time of booking or on site before work begins. ShuiLong will not undertake work that is unsafe, beyond our scope of licence, or that requires statutory approval not yet obtained. If we identify a safety concern during a visit, we will advise you and may defer work until the concern is addressed.

8. Materials and Parts

Parts supplied by ShuiLong meet CNS (Chinese National Standards) specifications. You are also welcome to supply your own parts; however, ShuiLong cannot accept responsibility for the performance of customer-supplied parts.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the appointment: no charge
• Cancellations made less than 2 hours before, or failure to provide access: NT$500 travel charge applies
• ShuiLong may reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available slot.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided in good faith based on the condition of the property at the time of the visit. ShuiLong cannot accept responsibility for:

• Pre-existing defects in pipework or fixtures not identified during the visit
• Damage resulting from customer-supplied parts
• Recurrence of issues caused by factors outside the scope of the work carried out

We do not make claims about specific outcomes. Results depend on the condition of the property's plumbing system.

11. Limitation of Liability

ShuiLong's liability in connection with any Service is limited to the fee paid for that Service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — text, design, and images — is owned by or licensed to ShuiLong. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute it without our written permission.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, contact us first at [email protected]. We will aim to resolve the matter informally within 10 working days. If informal resolution fails, disputes are subject to the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court.

14. General Provisions

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ShuiLong for the Services.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• These Terms may not be assigned by you without our prior written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on our website. Material changes will be noted via an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
